Erik K. Grijalva

Research interests revolve around restoration and conservation in highly altered ecosystems, especially as relates to plant communities. Doctoral research is looking at tidal marsh ecology and plant community responses to sea level rise, urban restoration and ecological spillover to adjacent wildland areas, and examining the utility of camera trapping networks for avian surveys in tidal marshes. Teaches or assists California Plant Communities (PLS 147) in Spring Quarter.
